# Regular Maintenance

These are the regular maintenance procedures for the BayDrive:

- Ensure the device is cycled on a regular basis to ensure the actuation components remain lubricated.
- Clear any debris from the lifting channels and moving components.
- Inspect the top beam mounting pins and the lifting channel pins and confirm that they are not damaged and are retained with their original retainers (linch pin and split pins)
- Inspect the wire ropes for tension. If any section is loose, contact your Rubicon representative for support.

# Reassembling the Motor

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️ If you are replacing an iMotor PCB rev.14 with rev.15, you must replace the plastic screws securing the PCB with steel screws (p/n 77259).

If you remove the motor cover you must follow these steps during reassembly. This will ensure that the housing is correctly sealed.

This procedure assumes that you are using a reusable gasket P/N 83115. If you are using disposable gaskets, throw the old gasket away and replace both the gasket and the dessicant using the service kit P/N 83416.

- Clean any residual gasket material from the mating surfaces of the housing and plate.
- Reinstall the gasket and replace the desiccant packages. (Use Sealed Motor Gasket Field Service kit P/N 84374).

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Replace the desiccant packages immediately prior to replacing the motor cover.

- Using the original bolts, apply Loctite 243 to the threads of the bolts and re-fasten the housing. Tighten the bolts to 12.1 Nm.
