The mounting kit provides support for the top beam onto which the BayDrive is mounted. The mounting kit may be attached directly to an existing steel or concrete structure, or to supporting arms attached to the existing structure. The top beam is then installed on the mounting kit mounting brackets.

Details of available mounting kits for different installation options are here - [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/2323546133](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/2323546133) .

When required, anchor bolts are supplied with the mounting kits. The anchor specification is available via [Ramset data sheets](https://ramset.com.au/product/dynabolt-plus-sleeve-anchor/). Please adhere to the manufacturer’s specification for installation of these anchors. Tightening torque requirement for supplied anchor bolts is 55Nm (40.5ft-lb).

# Installing the Mounting Kit

In general, when installing a mounting kit:

1. Remove any debris or dry concrete.
2. If you are mounting the top beam on supporting arms, drill mounting holes for the supporting arms and secure them in place.
3. Drill holes for the mounting brackets and install the mounting brackets. Or, if installing on an existing steel bar, clamp the mounting brackets to the bar.
4. Fit rubber pads on the mounting brackets to support the top beam.
