The MicronLevel Air sensor is an optional level sensor that can be fitted to the FerIT Solar Node mast to measure the upstream water level.

**Step 1**

Assemble the sensor:

- Place the mast in the boss on the BayDrive and fasten it using two M8 socket set screws.
- Pass the sensor loom through the hole in the rear of the sensor housing and plug it into the top of the sensor
- Insert the level sensor into the level sensor housing and fasten it with grub screws. Insert the plastic cap at the top of the sensor housing.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Use a deburring tool to smooth any edges where the sensor loom exits the MicronLevel Air and enters the FerIT Solar Node mounting pole.

**Step 2**

Pass the sensor loom through the sensor mounting bracket and tube.

**Step 3**

Attach the sensor housing to the sensor mounting bracket.

**Step 4**

Insert the support tube into the mast mounting bracket and fasten.

**Step 5**

Pass the mounting bracket over the mast and secure it with 2x M16 socket set screws so that the sensor face is 250mm above the bottom face of the top beam.

**Step 6**

Pass the sensor loom up through the FerIT Solar Node mounting pole and connect it to the FerIT Solar Node.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ To protect the sensor loom we recommend:
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - Use cable ties to tie the loom to the mounting pole. Coil any surplus loom and store it in the mounting pole
> ℹ️ - Use 20 mm braided sleeve (P/N 74278) to cover any exposed sections of the loom.
