Anchoring sizing and type should be determined per installation.  The recommended mechanical anchor for most BayDrive door kit installations is an M8 (unless otherwise specifed) **[HILTI HST3-R-BW](https://www.hilti.com.au/c/CLS_FASTENER_7135/CLS_MECHANICAL_ANCHORS_7135/r3987999)****. ** Anchors for mounting kits are supplied and detailed in the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/2303262895](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/2303262895) section.

### Anchor Specifications:

- Material: Stainless Steel 316 (A4)
- Anchor size: M8 (5/16in)
- Hole specification:
  - Diameter: 8mm (0.315in)
  - Depth: 62mm (2.44in)
- Cutting diameter of drill bit: 8mm (0.315in)
- Maximum torque moment: 15Nm (11ft-lb)
- Anchor length: 95mm (3.74mm)
- Substrate: Concrete

- Outsize diameter: 15.57mm (0.61in)

When selecting a mechanical anchor, the anchor selected should be equivalent to the recommended mechanical anchor above.
