**Step 1**

[Reconnect to the FerIT Solar Node](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/1961164896/Commissioning+and+Configuration#Connect-to-the-FerIT-SolarNode) and [open the Micron Level driver](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DC/pages/1914896447/Viewing+and+Managing+Devices#View-and-Modify-Driver-Settings-and-Data) from the **Drivers** tab. Then select the **Diagnostic** tab.

**Step 2**

Confirm that the FerIT Solar Node is communicating with the sensor by checking the **Comms Status** field

**Step 3**

Configure the ‘Device Datum’: With a tape measure, measure down from the face of the level sensor to the ground. Enter this value in the **Device Datum** field so that the displayed measurement value is in reference to the ground.

**Step 4**

Go to the **Settings** tab.

Configure ‘Change of State’ bursting: If **CoS Bursting** is set to ENABLED, any change in measurement greater than the **CoS Value** will trigger a burst of data back to the host system. This is recommended if using the level sensor for [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2029586433](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2029586433).

**Step 5**

Configure ‘Percentage Full’ parameters: if measurement of the water level as a percentage of full is required, configure the **Custom Range Minimum **by entering the measurement equivalent to 0% full and configure the **Custom Range Maximum** by entering the measurement equivalent to 100% full. The percentage full will be calculated in this measurement range.
