## Instructions

You can change the name of the FerIT device. For example, you might give the device a more meaningful name so you can identify it when scanning for devices.

> ℹ️ Note that the name you choose will be prefixed with "FerIT".

1. Pair with the device
2. On the **Drivers** tab, choose the App Driver
3. Enter the new name in the **Device Name** field.
4. Tap the **Send** button to update the device name. Enter the device password when prompted and tap **Verify**.
5. Select the **Reset Device** option from the menu to restart the FerIT.

When you scan for the device it will now be listed using its new name.
