You can change the password the FerIT devices such that they are less complex than the default factory access code and easier to manage.

## Instructions

1. Pair with the device
2. On the **Drivers** tab, choose the BLE Interface Driver.
3. Enter a password in the **User Password **field.
4. Tap the **Send** button to send the new password to the FerIT device.
5. Enter the Factory Access Code (or previous user password) when prompted and tap **Verify**.
6. Navigate back to the home screen and select the **Reset Device** option from the menu to restart the FerIT. This will ensure the new password is saved and should now be usable.

> ℹ️ User passwords can be up to 8 characters long and must be alphanumerical only. (0-9, a-z, A-Z)
