If the batteries are faulty, they must be replaced. 

- The FerIT Solar Node and the iBee Radio Node are powered by rechargeable batteries.
- The FerIT Node includes an internal FerIT Node which uses a non-rechargeable battery with an approximately 2-year life expectancy.

## Replacing the iBee Radio Node Battery

> ℹ️ We recommend that you keep at least one spare battery in stock for every ten batteries you are using in the field.

To replace the battery, [remove the battery](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2096889857/Checking+Batteries+in+the+Field#Removing-the-Battery) and replace it with a compatible model.

- 82965 SD; Battery, Drypower, SLA 12V, 9Ah

## FerIT Solar Node Batteries

- 76814 SD; Battery, Lithium 12V10Ah XD, LiFePO4
- 77031 SD; Battery, Drypower, SLA 12V, 7.2Ah
- 82965 SD; Battery, Drypower, SLA 12V, 9Ah

## FerIT Node Single-Use Battery

- 81179 SD; Battery, Lithium 14.5Ah.
