1. Disconnect the node from the BayDrive assembly
2. Remove the motor cover
3. Discard the original gasket and remove all residual material on mating surfaces
4. Disconnect wiring from the existing terminal block
5. The wiring will include two sets of three wires (blue, black and brown) in a black insulating cable. Attach a drawstring at least 2m in length to each of these two black insulating cables
6. Remove and discard the existing terminal block and bracket
7. Fit the iMotor PCB and bracket to the top of the motor using the bolts and washers provided
  1. Ensure the PCB is facing upwards
  2. Ensure the spade terminal is fitted under the mounting bolt as per figure 3
8. Disconnect the closed proximity sensor from the bracket on the door side of the drive shaft at the actuator arm
9. Pull the closed proximity sensor wiring through until the cable is completely through and the drawstring from step 5 can be disconnected
10. Connect a new proximity sensor to the bracket and attach the drawstring to the new sensor wiring
11. Pull the draw wire back through from the motor end until the cable is completely through and the drawstring can be disconnected. Mark the cable as ‘closed sensor’
12. Repeat steps 8 to 11 for the opened proximity sensor, marking the cable as ‘opened sensor’
13. Connect the motor wiring as per figure 1:
  1. Connect the blue wire from the ‘open sensor' cable to position 1 as per figure 1
  2. Connect the black wire from the ‘open sensor' cable sensor to position 2 as per figure 1
  3. Connect the brown wire from the ‘open sensor' cable sensor to position 3 as per figure 1
  4. Connect the blue wire from the ‘closed sensor' cable sensor to position 4 as per figure 1
  5. Connect the black wire from the ‘closed sensor' cable sensor to position 5 as per figure 1
  6. Connect the brown wire from the ‘closed sensor' cable sensor to position 6 as per figure 1
  7. Connect the red motor power wire to position A as per figure 1
  8. Connect the black motor power wire to position B as per figure 1
At the top of the pole, remove the original round connector that was originally connected to the radio node
15. Re-terminate wires numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4 with deutsch pins. Remaining wires are not required.
Push the cables into the deutsch connector as per the front-on view in figure 2. Pins are locked in once an audible click is observed.
17. Install the wedgelock to the front of the deutsch plug
18. At the other end of the same cable, re-terminate all wires with bootlace ferrules
19. Connect the motor comms wiring as per figure 3:
  1. Connect 1 to position I as per figure 3
  2. Connect 2 to position II as per figure 3
  3. Connect 3 to position III as per figure 3
  4. Connect 4 to position IV as per figure 3
  5. Connect 5 to position V as per figure 3
  6. Connect 6 to position VI as per figure 3
Tape the desiccant to the motor, ensuring the packet is not fully covered by the tape
21. Fit the new gasket
22. Refit the motor cover
23. Connect the LoRa Solar Node to the deutsch plug
24. Fit the LoRa Solar Node to the pole
25. Power up the LoRa Solar Node and [commission the Imotor driver](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/1961164896)
