1. Disconnect the node from the BayDrive assembly
2. Remove the motor from the housing
3. Remove the safety and motor covers
4. Disconnect wiring from the existing terminal block
5. Remove and discard the existing terminal block and bracket
6. Fit the iMotor PCB and bracket to the top of the motor using the bolts and washers provided
  1. Ensure the PCB is facing upwards
  2. Ensure the spade terminal is fitted under the mounting bolt as per figure 3
7. Identify the limit switch wires:
  1. Identify the two sets of switch wires coming from the actuator arm to the motor - each set consists of a black and a green wire coming from a black insulating cable
  2. Choose one set of switch wires
  3. Identify the two black switches on the actuator arm, one closest to the door, the other closest to the motor assembly
  4. Set the multimeter to probe mode and attach each probe to the black or the green wire, 1 wire per probe
  5. Touch and move the magnet along the face of the the switch closest to the door (closed position switch)
  6. If the multimeter detects a circuit it will trigger, meaning the set of wires you are testing is the closed position switch wiring - mark the pair as ‘closed position' for future terminating
  7. If the multimeter does not trigger, touch and move the magnet along the face of the switch closest to the motor assembly
  8. If the multimeter triggers, the set of wires you are testing is the open position switch wiring - mark the pair as ‘open position’ for future terminating
  9. If the multimeter does not trigger for either switch, check electrical wiring and replace limit switch if required.
  10. Repeat these tests for the other set of switch wires
8. Inspect all position switch (green and black) wires, brake (grey) and motor power (red and black) wires, re-terminating with bootlace ferrule if required
9. Connect the motor wiring as per figure 1:
  1. Connect the green wire from the ‘open position’ sensor to position 1 as per figure 1
  2. Connect the black wire from the ‘open position’ sensor to position 2 as per figure 1
  3. Connect the green wire from the ‘closed position’ sensor to position 3 as per figure 1
  4. Connect the black wire from the ‘closed position’ sensor to position 4 as per figure 1
  5. Connect either of the grey brake wires to position 5 as per figure 1
  6. Connect the other grey brake wire to position 6 as per figure 1
  7. Connect the red motor power wire to position A as per figure 1
  8. Connect the black motor power wire to position B as per figure 1
  At the top of the pole, remove the original round connector that was originally connected to the radio node
11. Re-terminate wires numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4 with deutsch pins.  Remaining wires are not required.
  Push the cables into the deutsch connector as per the front-on view in figure 2.  Pins are locked in once an audible click is observed.
13. Install the wedgelock to the front of the deutsch plug
14. At the other end of the same cable, re-terminate all wires with bootlace ferrules
15. Connect the motor comms wiring as per figure 3:
  1. Connect 1 to position I as per figure 3
  2. Connect 2 to position II as per figure 3
  3. Connect 3 to position III as per figure 3
  4. Connect 4 to position IV as per figure 3
  5. Connect 5 to position V as per figure 3
  6. Connect 6 to position VI as per figure 3
  Tape the desiccant to the motor, ensuring the packet is not fully covered by the tape
17. Refit the motor cover
18. Reinstall the motor.  Ensure the original seal is still functional, otherwise reinforce with sealant
19. Refit any covers and guards that were removed
20. Connect the LoRa Solar Node to the deutsch plug
21. Fit the LoRa Solar Node to the pole
22. Power up the LoRa Solar Node and [commission the Imotor driver](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BY/pages/1961164896)
