| **Alarm Tag** | **Alarm Description** | **Long Description** |

| FC_COMM_FAIL | Device comms fail | The FerIT Node is not able to communicate with the connected device.  Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect the connection between the FerIT node and the device including the cable and plugs.  The problem could be the connection or the device itself. |
| FC_SM_SUM | Summated Soil Moisture | Summated soil moisture for the probe is outside of the expected range, suggesting over or underwatering |
| FC_SM_SUM_VSM | Summated Soil Moisture (VSM) | Volumetric soil moisture for the probe is outside of the expected range, suggesting over or underwatering |
