| **Alarm Tag** | **Alarm Description** | **Long Description** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| FC_BRUSHED_INTEGRITY_ERROR | Shows if brushed integrity error is detected | The motor has detected a deviation in encoder counts per revolution. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect the circuit board on the motor assembly to check all connectors are plugged in correctly. Add new desiccant before re-sealing. |
| FC_EVENT_UNKNOWN_OPEN_FLAG | Unknown open time | The motor is in an open state but the motor does not have a recorded opening event, possibly due to a power failure or manual actuation while not connected |
| FC_GATE_COMMISSIONED | Shows if solar node believes imotor has been comissioned | The motor is not commissioned and will not operate as inspected. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, commission the motor if required. |
| FC_GATE_STATUS_GATE_OUT_OF_SERVICE | Gate out of service | The motor has detected one or more of the following alarms, refer to these alarms for further guidance: wrong gate movement alarm, no gate movement alarm, brushless hall integrity alarm, brushless hall sensor error, low battery voltage alarm, encoder integrity error alarm, encoder position loss alarm, overtorque retries exceeded, out of position. |
| FC_GATE_STATUS_OUT_OF_POSITION | Gate out of position | The motor has reported a percentage open outside of the valid range. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, re-commission the motor if required. |
| FC_GATE_STATUS_OVERTORQUED_LOCKED | Gate overtorque locked | The motor has overtorqued multiple times, exceeding the limit of movement retries to clear the alarm. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect on site, removing any obstructions to movement. If no obstructions found the maximum drive current can be increased in some instances - check documentation for this device. |
| FC_HALL_SENSOR_ERROR | Shows if hall sensor error is detected | The motor has detected an invalid combination of hall sensor inputs. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect the circuit board on the motor assembly to check all connectors are plugged in correctly. Add new desiccant before re-sealing. |
| FC_HALL_SENSOR_INTEGRITY_ERROR | Shows if sensor integrity error is detected | The motor has detected a deviation in hall counts per revolution. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect the circuit board on the motor assembly to check all connectors are plugged in correctly. Add new desiccant before re-sealing. |
| FC_HIBERNATE | Hibernate the motor board | The motor is hibernated and will not actuate. To actuate, unhibernate the motor first |
| FC_IM_BATT_VOLTAGE | Battery voltage | The battery voltage detected at the motor is outside of the expected range. Check the battery voltage at the FerIT Node, if voltage is similar resolve by replacing or charging the battery. If voltage at the motor is significantly lower, the problem is likely to be due to connection between the FerIT Node and the motor. Inspect cables and connections. |
| FC_IM_COMMS_FAIL | Comms fail | The FerIT Node is not able to communicate with the connected motor. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect the connection between the FerIT node and the device including the cable and plugs. The problem could be the connection or the device itself. |
| FC_IM_OVERTORQUE | Gate overtorque | The motor has drawn excessive current during operation and has stopped moving to prevent damage. Move the gate in the opposite direction and inspect on site, removing any obstructions to movement. If no obstructions found the maximum drive current can be increased in some instances - check documentation for this device. |
| FC_MOTOR_IS_UNLOADED | Low Current Closure | The motor has drawn lower than expected current during closure, suggesting the motor might be unlinked from the gate/valve. Inspect the actuator on site to confirm correct operation, increase the low current closure threshold to prevent false alarms. |
| FC_MOTOR_STATUS_WRONG_GATE_MOVEMENT_ALARM | Incorrect gate movement direction | The motor has detected the position changing in the wrong direction during actuation. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, re-commission the motor if required. |
| FC_NO_MOVEMENT | No gate movement detected | The motor has detected no change in position during actuation. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, inspect the circuit board on the motor assembly to check all connectors are plugged in correctly. Add new desiccant before re-sealing. |
| FC_POWER_FAILURE_DETECTED | Shows if solar node believes power failure is detected | The battery voltage measured at the motor has dropped below 8V during actuation, causing the motor to stop. Check the battery voltage at the FerIT Node, if voltage is similar resolve by replacing or charging the battery. If voltage at the motor is significantly lower, the problem is likely to be due to connection between the FerIT Node and the motor. Inspect cables and connections. |
| FC_SETPOINT_FAIL | Failed to reach setpoint | The motor has failed to reach the required position within 1000 seconds after the start of actuation. Poll this alarm to check it is still current, check for other alarms that may cause the set point to not be reached within this time. |
| FC_WATER_LEAK | Water leak alarm | The motor water detector has detected water in the motor housing. Check the motor housing on site, dry out and re-seal the motor housing with new desiccant added to reduce moisture in the air. If no moisture found, replace the water detector. |
