# Alarm List

Alarm lists show any alarms that have trigged because of the settings configured for the alarmed tag. See [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2220752924](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2220752924) for details of how to configure tag alarm limits and to enable or disable alarms.

You can also create Alarm Actions to send notifications by email, SMS, or text message when specific alarms are triggered. You cannot yet configure alarm actions in this version of the FarmConnect App. Please use the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2022113344](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2022113344) module in FarmConnect Portal to configure alarm actions.

## Alarm Menu

Each alarm in the list has a menu button at the right of the list. Tap the menu button for any alarm to see a list of actions for that alarm. The actions available will depend on the alarm but may include:

| **Menu option** | |
| --- | --- |
| Acknowledge | Use this option to acknowledge alarms. Acknowledging an alarm means that any actions that were configured for the alarm (such as notifications) will no longer occur. See [Acknowledging Alarms](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2217017345/Alarms#Acknowledging-alarms) for more details. |
| Poll | Poll the site to fetch the latest data for the tag. |
| Site Details | Go to the [Site Details](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2216296449) screen for the site where this tag is located. |
| Show in Site History | [Trend](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2217050113) the alarm. |
| Settings | Configure the [alarm settings](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2220752924) for this tag. |

# Filtering the alarm list

Tap the Filter icon to set filters for the alarm list. See [Filtering by Alarms](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2216296791/Filtering+the+Site+Map+and+List#Filtering-by-Alarm) for more details.

> ℹ️ **Example**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ For example you could filter the list to show only unacknowledged alarms.

The selected filters will be displayed as labels at the top of the list (except on Mobile screens) and as a number of filters on the Filter tool. Delete a filter to remove it from the alarm list. Or choose **Clear** from the filter menu to remove all filters.

# Acknowledging Alarms

Acknowledging an alarm does not remove it from the Alarm list or correct the alarm condition, but it prevents any further [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2022113344](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCD/pages/2022113344) from being carried out for this alarm. For example, if you have configured regular SMS notifications while the alarm is active they will not be sent after the alarm has been acknowledged.

An acknowledged alarm is indicated by a tick and the **Ack Time** and **Ack By** fields will be populated.

To acknowledge an alarm, tap the menu button at the right of the alarm and choose **Acknowledge** from the alarm menu.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Once an alarm has been acknowledged it cannot be unacknowledged.

# Alarm History Count

You can view the alarm history for a site:

- On the Site Summary screen **Alarms** tab.
- On any [Trend](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2217050222) chart.

In each case you can tap the TREND ALL button to trend the alarms listed.

# Trending Alarms

To show the alarm history as a trend either:

- On the Alarm List (main list or site-specific list), choose the **Show in Site History** option from the alarm item menu. This shows the alarm history on the same chart as the important site trends.
- On the Alarm History Count panel, click the **Trend All** icon. This shows the alarm history on its own trend chart.
- If you have created a [Trend](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FCNF/pages/2217050222), you can display an alarm history count for the trended sites and add the alarm tags to the trend.
