Use Rubicon DeviceConnect to configure the BayDrive. See the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DC/pages/1914896390](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DC/pages/1914896390) for details of using DeviceConnect.

**Step 1**

[Connect to the FerIT Solar Node](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DC/pages/1914896414/Pairing+with+a+FerIT+Device#Connect-to-a-Device) using DeviceConnect

**Step 2**

[Add a device driver](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DC/pages/1914896495/Configuration#Add-and-Remove-Device-Drivers). You should add either the *iMotor *driver or the* iMotor/MicronLevel *driver if you will be using a MicronLevel Air.

**Step 3**

When the FerIT has restarted and you are reconnected, [open the driver](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DC/pages/1914896447/Viewing+and+Managing+Devices#View-and-Modify-Driver-Settings-and-Data) that you just installed from the **Drivers** tab. Then open the **Commission** tab.

**Step 4**

Use either the buttons on the power module (press and hold both for 5 seconds to activate) or the Open Step/Close Step buttons in the app to drive the gate to the fully closed position.

**Step 5**

Send the command **Set Close Limit**. Read the **Encoder Count** the value should be 1000000000

**Step 6**

Now use the app or buttons to drive the gate to the fully open position. Then send the **Set Open Limit** command.

**Step 7**

Send the **Set Commissioned** command. Then poll the Gate Status, the status should be *Device Commissioned.*

**Step 8**

Open and close the gate fully. Use the Configure tab to confirm that the gate opens and closes to the correct positions.

Use the **Motor Status** and **Gate Status** options to diagnose any potential problems.
