An N-type antenna can be fitted to either a FerIT node or to a FerIT Solar Node using the N-type Antenna Kit (P/N 81385).

# FerIT Node

1. Disconnect the existing antenna from the FerIT Node.
2. Connect the SMA to N-type loom and mount the N-type antenna.

# FerIT Solar Node

**Step 1     **    

Open the FerIT Solar Node by unscrewing the two screws at the top of the solar panel. Disconnect the antenna loom and remove the old antenna.

**Step 2**

Remove the antenna mounting bracket and use a drill to enlarge the existing hole to 16 mm diameter. Reattach the antenna mounting bracket.

**Step 3**

Remove the O-ring on the loom connector then install the SMA to N-type loom and mount the N-type antenna using the supplied grommet.

**Step 4**

Close and secure the Solar Node lid.
