The FerIT Node can be connected to a mounting bracket using one of the following options depending on the bracket design:

- Two M5 bolts on the base of the FerIT Node. This is the most common mounting option.
- Two button head bolts on either side of the antenna. Remove the FerIT Node cover to access these mounting screws.

# FerIT Node top of pole mounting

**Step 1**

Attach the FerIT Node to a mounting bracket using two M5 button head screws

**Step 2**        

Drill two 4.1 mm mounting holes 20 mm apart for the bracket on the side of the pipe

**Step 3**

Feed the FerIT loom down through the pipe for connection to a suitable sensor.

**Step 4**

Rivet the mounting bracket to the top of the pipe.

# FerIT Node Rear Mounting

**Step 1**

Attach the FerIT Node to a mounting bracket. **Step 2**

Drill two 4.1 mm mounting holes 20 mm apart for the bracket on the side of the mounting surface.

**Step 3**

Drill a 17 mm hole in the side of the mounting surface for the FerIT loom. This should be 27.5 mm above the top bracket hole.

**Step 4**

Feed the FerIT loom into the 17 mm hole.

> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ If the loom will contact any metal edges or surfaces, use a protective sleeve on the cable to prevent wear and tear.

**Step 5**

Rivet the bracket to the mounting surface.

# FerIT Node DIN Rail Mounting

**Step 1**

Disconnect the antenna from the rear of the Node

**Step 2**

Slide the mounting bracket and Node onto the Din rail.

**Step 3**

Mount the antenna on the outside of the cabinet.
