You will typically move a connected BladeValve or BayDrive either manually or automatically by connecting to the FerIT Solar Node remotely using Rubicon FarmConnect software. However, you can also open and close the device directly from the Solar Node.

1. Open the FerIT Solar Node by unscrewing the two fastening screws on either side of the antenna mounting.
2. Hold both the OPEN (1) and CLOSE (2) buttons down until both buttons light up red (this takes about 5 seconds).
3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons on the Power Module to move the gate.

> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ If the gate is not moved for 10 seconds, the buttons are deactivated and you must repeat step 2 to move the gate.

Close the FerIT Solar Node when you have finished moving the gate.
