FerIT LoRaWan networks can be adapted to support Firmware Update Over The Air (FUOTA)  in the following regions:

- AU (Australia)
- US (United States)
- India

Prior to usage in the EU region, in-country verification of performance is required. Consult Rubicon Support for more information.

# Requirements

FUOTA is supported when Actility is setup for the system and the nodes meet the following requirements

| **Hardware types** | FerIT LoRa devices (**Solar Node** and **EP Node**) |
| **xDot firmware version** | 4.1.32 |
| **FerIT Firmware Versions** | 2.1.0 and newer, with Bootloader V2 and SoftDevice 6.1.1 |
| **Connectivity** | Actility Services |
| **Battery voltage** | minimum 11.5V |
| **RSSI (both gateway and node ends)** | -100dBm or higher for better success rate |

## Upgrading Firmware for Nodes
