# What is the Weather Station?

The Rubicon Weather Station is an integrated weather measurement solution that measures the following parameters:

- Rainfall
- Ambient Temperature
- Relative Humidity
- Wind speed and direction
- Barometric pressure
- Solar radiation

The Weather Station is connected to a Rubicon pedestal and power supply, or to a Rubicon FerIT Solar Node. Weather data is transmitted to a Rubicon server for integration with Rubicon SCADAConnect or Rubicon FarmConnect.

The Weather Station can be fitted to an existing Rubicon pedestal alongside a Rubicon gate or metering device.
